Past, Present, & Future Reads #10

Past, Present, & Future Reading Pile is a  feature on my blog where I do a post every Sunday to keep track of the books I've read the week before, what I'm currently reading and which books I hope to start and finish during that week.
The Past
Release Date: March 6, 2012
Haven Terra is a brainy, shy high school outcast. But everything begins to change when she turns sixteen. Along with her best friend Dante and their quiet and brilliant classmate Lance, she is awarded a prestigious internship in the big city— Chicago—and is sent to live and work at a swanky and stylish hotel under the watchful eyes of a group of gorgeous and shockingly young-looking strangers: powerful and alluring hotel owner Aurelia Brown; her second-in-command, the dashing Lucian Grove; and their stunning but aloof staff of glamazons called The Outfit.
As Haven begins falling for Lucian, she discovers that these beautiful people are not quite what they seem. With the help of a mysterious book, she uncovers a network of secret passageways from the hotel’s jazz-age past that leads her to the heart of the evil agenda of Aurelia and company: they’re in the business of buying souls. Will they succeed in wooing Haven to join them in their recruitment efforts, or will she be able to thwart this devilish set’s plans to take the souls of her classmates on prom night at the hotel?
Illuminate is an exciting saga of a teen’s first taste of independence, her experience in the lap of luxury, and her discovery she may possess strength greater than she ever knew.
I finally finished this book this week and I loved it. =) You can read my review here.
Supernaturally, by Kiersten White
(Paranormalcy, #1)
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: July 26, 2011
Evie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be . . . kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees.
But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.
So much for normal.
I absolutely adore this series. I'm really sad the last one is coming out this year. =( You can read my review here.

I'm so sad this is the end. I mean, I'm so happy to be reading Alpha, but so sad. =( I'm almost done with this, I'm about 200 pages in. I'll be done within another day or so depending on how much I get to read. I'll be setting this review to be posted on Thursday, March 15th, 2012.
The Future
After I finish Alpha, I'm going to be reading Pretty Little Secrets and then hopefully Clarity. I love the Pretty Little Liars series and I've been dying to read Clarity since before it came out last year. I've heard great things about it. =)

What did you read last week? What are you currently reading? What's next? I'd love to know! So leave your Past, Present & Future reads in the comments below. =) Happy reading!
