Past, Present, & Future Reads #11

Past, Present, & Future Reading Pile is a  feature on my blog where I do a post every Sunday to keep track of the books I've read the week before, what I'm currently reading and which books I hope to start and finish during that week.
The Past
(Shifters, #6)
Publishers: Mira
Release Date: October 1, 2010
The unscrupulous new Council chair has charged Jace, Marc and me with trespassing, kidnapping, murder and treason. Yeah, we've been busy. But now it's time to take justice into our own hands. We must avenge my brother's death and carve out the rot at the heart of the Council. It's not going to be easy, and loss seems unavoidable, but I have promised to protect my Pride, no matter what. With a target on my back and Marc at my side, I'm heading for a final showdown that can--that will--change everything forever. A showdown I'm not sure I'm ready for.But life never waits until you're ready.
*sigh* It's over! =( I finished the last book. I'm so sad, but content with how it ended. But yet, I still want to know more. If that makes sense. I want to READ more, but the ending couldn't have been more perfect. Maybe that made a little more sense? Oh well. Click here to read my review.
Pretty Little Secrets, by Sara Shepard
(Pretty Little Liars, #4.5)
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: January 3, 2012
Rewind to junior year in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, to a winter break no one has ever heard about. . . .
Fat snowflakes fall onto manicured lawns, quilted stockings hang over marble fireplaces, and everyone is at peace, especially Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer. Now that Alison’s murderer is in jail and A is dead, they can finally relax. Little do they know there’s a new A in town. . . .
Rule number one of being an effective stalker: Get to know your prey. So I watch these liars day and night, keeping an eye on the trouble they get into, the messes they make, and the secrets they keep. Hanna’s desperate for a very personal session with her gym trainer. Emily is number one on Santa’s naughty list. Aria’s old flame from Iceland is about to land her in hot water. And Spencer’s resorting to some backhanded tactics to get what she wants.
What happens on holiday break stays on holiday break—right? But guess what. I saw. And now I’m telling.
Taking place between "Unbelievable" and "Wicked," "Pretty Little Secrets" is a very special "Pretty Little Liars" tale revealing the liars’ never-before-seen misadventures over their junior-year winter break.
This was a pretty enjoyable read. I really wish I had the 5th book now. I want to know what happens. =) You can read my review here. Have any of you read this?? What did you think?
Total Books: 2
The Present
(Clarity, #2)
Publisher: Scholastic/Point
Release Date: March 1, 2011
Clarity “Clare” Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch a certain object, and the visions come to her. It’s a gift.
And a curse.
When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare’s ex-boyfriend wants her to help solve the case—but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk. Then Clare’s brother—who has supernatural gifts of his own—becomes the prime suspect, and Clare can no longer look away. Teaming up with Gabriel, the smoldering son of the new detective, Clare must venture into the depths of fear, revenge, and lust in order to track the killer. But will her sight fail her just when she needs it most?
I'm going to be starting this one before I go to bed. I've heard nothing but great things about it, so I can't wait to finally dive into it. And look at the beauty and simplicity of that cover! I can't figure out, though, if I like this cover or the new cover. What do you guys think?
The Future
After I finish Clarity, I'm going to read My Soul to Save and if I have enough time, I'm going to attempt at reading The Beginning of After! I've been only reading about 1 1/2 to 2 books a week. So hopefully I can get to The Beginning of After this week, but if not, next week for sure! =D

What book(s) did you read last week? Reading now? Planning to read next? What are your thoughts on my current book or future books? Leave a comment, I'd love to know! Hope you have an awesome week! =D
