Grave Mercy, by Robin LaFevers
(His Fair Assassin, #1)
Publisher: Houghtin Mifflin Harcourt
Release Date: April 3, 2012
Why be the sheep, when you can be the wolf?
Seventeen-year-old Ismae escapes from the brutality of an arranged marriage into the sanctuary of the convent of St. Mortain, where the sisters still serve the gods of old. Here she learns that the god of Death Himself has blessed her with dangerous gifts—and a violent destiny. If she chooses to stay at the convent, she will be trained as an assassin and serve as a handmaiden to Death. To claim her new life, she must destroy the lives of others.
Ismae’s most important assignment takes her straight into the high court of Brittany—where she finds herself woefully under prepared—not only for the deadly games of intrigue and treason, but for the impossible choices she must make. For how can she deliver Death’s vengeance upon a target who, against her will, has stolen her heart?
The lovely Melissa from Must Read Faster sent me an ARC of this to read! It has been on my wish list for a while. It sounds amazing! And by the way, it is huge! The ARC is pretty dang heavy! I'll have to check out the hardcover soon and see how big that is. It's crazy!

Thank you so much Melissa!! =) I can't wait to read it!

I also got some AWESOME swag in the mail that completely made my day. =) I'll show you a picture. (Sorry for the quality! It was taken with my cell phone.)
Signed book plates and signed bookmarks! Thank you so much, Kimberly Derting! I have extras and I made sure to put my personalized signed book plates in my books, so I have two more book plates that are signed so I'll maybe get up some different swag and host a giveaway sometime soon. =)
