How far would you go for love, beauty, and jealousy?
When Nicole Castro, the most beautiful girl in her wealthy New Jersey high school, is splashed with acid on the left side of her perfect face, the whole world takes notice. But quiet loner Jay Nazarro does more than that--he decides to find out who did it. Jay understands how it feels to be treated like a freak, and he also has a secret: He's a brilliant hacker. But the deeper he digs, the more danger he's in--and the more he falls for Nicole. Too bad everyone is turning into a suspect, including Nicole herself.
Award-winning author Paul Griffin has written a high-stakes, soulful mystery about the meaning--and dangers--of love and beauty.
Why Do I Want It?
I haven't heard of this book until I went looking up a great book that will be released this week. And I saw this and knew it was perfect. It sounds amazing! I love when two people are brought together that are completely different and run in different circles. I love seeing them fall in love with each other! And it seems to have a bit of mystery to it, so this sounds amazing! :)
So what is on your list this week?

  1. Hmmm wasn't there a news story recently about a girl who had acid thrown on her. She accused a black man of doing it. The police were searching all over for her assailant. It turns out though she did it to herself. She was fined a whole bunch of money too!

  2. Wow this sounds interesting especially if the girl ends up having done this to herself. Think I will add this to the TBR.

  3. I really like the idea of Jay being a hacker-we need more tech-y kids in YA!
