What is your favorite Halloween costume? Even if you don't celebrate, what kinds of costumes do you like?
Hmm, I'm not really sure what my favorite costume is. I haven't really dressed up in the last couple of years, though I do love Halloween; it's one of my favorite holidays of the year. When I was in my pre-teen years, I used to dress up like a witch a lot. That was one of my favorite types of supernatural type people back then, and still is. This year, my husband and I will be dressing up our 7-month-old son as a monkey. So cute! I love seeing kids and babies dressed up. This is the costume we got for him! Isn't it cute?

If you could have dinner with your favorite book character, who would you eat with, and what would you serve?

Wow, great question! But hard. I have way too many favorite characters. I guess I'll pick Lend from Paranormalcy, by Kiersten White. I just finished it last night and I LOVE Lend. He is so sweet and friendly and funny! I'm not entirely sure what I'd serve, maybe pizza? I know he likes pizza. =) And I LOVE pizza.

What is your favorite spooky book? (i.e. mystery/suspense, thriller, ghost story, etc.)

This one is a hard one to answer. I haven't really read any "spooky" books lately. So I was sitting here trying to remember which books were kind of spooky reading this year. I was going to put down the Pretty Little Liars series, but then my friend Jackie @ Don't Sleep, Read reminded me of Choker, by Elizabeth Woods. That one was DEFINITELY creepy. But it was so good. I can't even really explain it. If you're interested, though, here is my review of it from earlier this year.

If you could have characters from a particular book meet and form an epic storyline with characters from a particular TV series, which would you choose and why?

Wow, very hard questions! VERY! Rose from the Vampire Academy series, by Richelle Mead and Damon from Vampire Diaries TV show. (I love the Vampire Diaries books, but I don't like Damon much in the book. But on the TV show I adore him!)

I can't really explain my pairing here, but I know you Rose and Damon fans out there can probably understand why. Right? Understand my pairing here? =) You all probably saw this one coming.

This week's question is:

Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

Wow, okay, this is a VERY hard question! There are SO many authors I would spend an hour/have a meal talking about books/writing with! But I guess if I had to pick three for now, they would be:

1. J.K Rowling:(Harry Potter!) I mean, this has to speak for itself, right? If not, then you must live under a rock! I started reading Harry Potter late-ish. I mean, I still grew up with them, but I didn't pick up a Harry Potter book until after my grandmother got me the first movie on VHS when I was 9. There is where I fell in love with the books and the movies. (So, so sad it's over! =( But they will forever live in my heart.) I would love to take some time and have a meal with J.K Rowling while we talk about Harry, Ron and Hermione and about her writing and publishing journey.

2. Richelle Mead: (Vampire Academy!) I loved Vampire Academy. It's my top favorite YA vampire series. I admire Richelle so much as a writer and would love to just sit and talk about her writing process with her and talk about Rose and Dimitri and everything.

3. Maggie Stiefvater: (Wolves of Mercy Falls) Favorite YA wolf series! Not only do I love her series, but she is hilarious! Have you seen her Youtube videos?? I would love to just sit and talk about wolves and about writing. I know Maggie and I would get along great!

What are three authors you would love to sit down and spend time with?

This weeks question is:

How did you come up with your blog name?

It's not a very creative story of how I came up with my blog name, I'm sorry to say. But I came up with my blog's name one night after creating my blog. I had already created a layout, with a damask pattern as the background, and all I needed was the perfect name.

For me damask is considered a little vintage. I LOVE damask patterns. I also love a lot of other vintage things, I guess things from other time periods just really intrigue me. And then, of course, I'm a total bookworm. I love books. I'm OBSESSED with books. Seriously. And I'm always getting called a bookworm by my friends and family.

So Vintage Bookworm popped into my head when I was searching for a vintage picture of a girl with a book, and I fell in love. I was sold on the name.

This weeks question is:

Just like Ashley said (love it) "Ashley the girl..." who are You the Boy/Girl, instead of You the Blogger?

I'm Amanda, the girl. I'm an eighteen-year-old wife and mom-to-be. (Due in 2 weeks!!) I am overly obsessed with books, in case you haven't noticed. When I'm not blogging or reading I am spending time with my husband, hanging out and watching movies. Other than my love for reading, I love to write. Which basically go hand in hand, right? Two more passions of mine, are photography and cooking/baking.

Happy Friday!

This weeks question is:

What embarrassing thing have you done on cold medicine?

Well, I don't get colds very often and I don't really take much cold medicine when I do get a cold, unless my cold gets very bad. I don't like to take medicine unless I have to and I don't like the taste of cold medicine, or like the way they make me drowsy.

I don't think I've done anything really embarrassing while on cold medicine. I usually try and stay in bed as much as possible if I do take some cold medicine. Probably the only thing I have done is been kind of out of it and not really fully understand what someone was saying, or forget later what they said to me while I was drowsy over the medicine.

So what embarrassing thing, if any, have you done while taking cold medicine?
