2012 Dystopia Challenge
I love the Dystopian genre. It all started with the Uglies series, by Scott Westerfeld. Which I didn't exactly know that it was called a Dystopian genre book, but it's the earliest one in the genre I remember reading. After reading The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, it REALLY got me into the genre. I would like to read more, which is why I'm participating in this awesome challenge this year. Here is a few of the books in the genre I'd like to read this year. I'm only going to name about 10. I'm going to go with the Contagion level of 15 books. - Delirium, by Lauren Oliver
- Divergent, by Veronica Roth
- Matched, by Ally Condie
- Wither, by Lauren DeStefano

- Daughter of Smoke and Bone, by Lainie Taylor
- All These Things I've Done, by Gabrielle Zevin
- The Scorpio Races, by Maggie Steifvater

Love some of the books you have on your dystopia list! Daughter of Smoke and Bone was without a doubt my favorite book of 2011 (I actually cried when I read it... :), and Divergent and Matched are great too!
ReplyDeleteI have the Chemical Garden series on my "to read" list as well - looks like we have similar tastes!
