Black Heart, by Holly Black
(Curse Workers, #3)
Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry
Release Date: April 3, 2012
Cassel Sharpe knows he’s been used as an assassin, but he’s trying to put all that behind him. He’s trying to be good, even though he grew up in a family of con artists and cheating comes as easily as breathing to him. He’s trying to do the right thing, even though the girl he loves is inextricably connected with crime. And he’s trying to convince himself that working for the Feds is smart, even though he’s been raised to believe the government is the enemy.
But with a mother on the lam, the girl he loves about to take her place in the Mob, and new secrets coming to light, the line between what’s right and what’s wrong becomes increasingly blurred. When the Feds ask Cassel to do the one thing he said he would never do again, he needs to sort out what’s a con and what’s truth. In a dangerous game and with his life on the line, Cassel may have to make his biggest gamble yet—this time on love.
I won a giveaway a while ago over at Lauren's blog (365 Days of Reading) for a 2012 Pre-Order and I chose Black Heart because I love the series and I know my husband would read it too because he loves the series too. Can't wait to read this! My husband has already finished it, lol. Thank you so much, Lauren!
Unearthly, by Cynthia Hand
(Unearthly, #1)
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: January 4, 2011
In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees . . . .Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy. Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place—and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make—between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?

 Delirium, by Lauren Oliver
(Delirium, #1)
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: February 1, 2011
Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -- the deliria -- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.
But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

I got two ARC's this week, they are older books though. Well, books that came out last year. I've read Unearthly, and I wanted my own copy so I can re-read it. =) I haven't read Delirium yet, but I've been dying to. I got these two books for doing Michelle, from The Passionate Bookworm's blog design a while ago. I did her blog design and in exchange she sent me Wither, Matched, Unearthly and Delirium. =) I have already received Wither and Matched. Can't wait to read them. =) Thank you so much, Michelle!
